Overview

Holism has been misunderstood for years. Every snake oil salesperson has their own brand of Holism. Promises were made using smoke and mirrors and obtuse notions suggested amazing results but very few knew the origins of Holism or made reference to Smuts (1926) who first introduced the term. I have criticized such authors in a recent publication (Hainsworth, 2023). So, I decided to write an introduction to Holism that is missing in the literature. Admittingly, I have advanced the concept of Holism to include the parts that constitute Holism. I have discussed Holism from what I call the pre-quantum state to the quantum state. I am not a physicist, but I have presented sound theory that uses physics concepts. I'm a social scientist so the majority of the book used an analysis of sociological theories to provide social science examples of Holism.
